Kirstey Washington, 29, of Muskogee died last night of injuries sustained when a semi collided with the pickup in which she was a passenger.
Mark Maples, 55, and Kimberly Maples, 53, were also critically injured in the collision with a semi driven by Robert Roberts.
Roberts will be charged today with first-degree manslaughter and two counts of driving under the influence resulting in great bodily injury, according to District Attorney Orvil Loge.
Roberts allegedly admitted to police that he used methamphetamine and also allegedly stated “he is feeling the effects of methamphetamine during the interview, that was not just due to the collision alone.”
A blood analysis done by officials determined that Roberts was under the influence of drugs and could not safely operate a vehicle.
