Three people were rushed to Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee by Muskogee County EMS under emergency status after a truck/semi wreck just east of Fort Gibson, emergency workers report.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a semi collided with a Dodge pickup truck at US 62 and Four Mile Road.

EMS reported that three unidentified patients were transported to Saint Francis.

No other details are immediately available.

UPDATE: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the victims as driver Mark Maples, 55, and passengers Kimberly Maples, 53, and Kirstey Washington, 29, all of Muskogee. They were in a 2008 Lincoln Mark LT which collided with an International tractor trailer driven by Robert Roberts, 34, of Tahlequah, who was not injured.

The three were all admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The Maples were wearing their seatbelts, but Washington was not, according to the patrol. The conditions of the drivers and the cause of the collision are under investigation.

Robert Roberts

UPDATE: Roberts has been booked on a complaint of driving under the influence involving great bodily injury. Kirstey Washington remains in critical condition, according to a family member.
