David Neil Dunn Jr., 19, of Muskogee is charged in Muskogee County District Court with a felony of shooting with intent to kill after an Oct. 9 incident on Sallie Street.
Just after 1 p.m. on that date, a red, four-door pickup drove by a residence at 1412 Sallie Street and someone inside the truck opened fire with a .22 caliber firearm, striking Geraldine Walker twice.
Walker was treated at the Muskogee hospital.
Police stopped Dunn later for an alleged traffic violation in a red pickup and placed him into custody for outstanding warrants and possession of marijuana. During a search of the truck, officers stated that they found a .22 caliber firearm.
According to an affidavit filed with the case, Dunn allegedly confessed to the shooting.
