Stephanie Lynell Williams, 34, of Tahlequah was killed last night in a two-car wreck almost five miles east of Tahlequah, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Williams was a passenger in a 2010 Dodge Charger driven by Billy Crittenden, 36, of Tahlequah. An 11-year-old juvenile female was also in the car. Both Crittenden and the juvenile were taken by Cherokee Nation EMS to Northeast Health Systems hospital in Tahlequah, where they were admitted for injuries.
The Charger collided with a 2003 pickup driven by Javier Garay-Trejo, 24. He and his six-year-old male passenger were treated and released for their injuries.
The wreck closed down US Highway 62 for three hours.
The Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the collision.
