Skyler Dewayne Buckner, 26, of Muskogee surrendered to the Muskogee County Sheriff’s office and OSBI this afternoon concerning the shootings in Taft. He is currently being booked into the Muskogee County Jail.
Buckner is suspected of being a shooter at the Taft Memorial Day celebration late last night and early this morning in which more than 40 shots were fired, one woman was killed, two juveniles and five other adults were injured.
Authorities are still investigating the case, and Buckner may not be the only suspect.
