Gary Lee Dobbs, 67, of Stigler died in a single-vehicle wreck in which he was a passenger early this morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Dobbs was riding in a 2002 Ford Mustang convertible driven by Heather Nicole White, 31, of Stigler just east of Porum around 3 a.m., when the vehicle departed the roadway to the right, striking a ditch and a barbed wire fence, according to the patrol.
White was treated and released at Muskogee’s Saint Francis Hospital as a precaution, while another passenger, Luman Wildcat, 26, of Porum was not injured. Dobbs was pronounced dead at the scene.
The patrol listed alcohol and drug driving under the influence as the cause of the wreck.
District Attorney Orvil Loge said he has not received the report on the wreck yet, so has not decided what charges will be filed.
