Heather Nicole White, 31, of Porum is charged with first-degree manslaughter, a felony, in Muskogee County District Court after a wreck in which Gary Lee Dobbs was killed on Oct. 2.
White is alleged to have been driving a 2002 Ford Mustang at 263rd and 88th streets in Muskogee County under the influence of at least one intoxicating substance. According to an affidavit filed by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, White admitted to smoking methamphetamine earlier in the day and to consuming Long Island Iced Teas and “10 to 12 beers” up to 20 minutes before the wreck, where her vehicle left the road and collided with a wire fence.
The wire fence killed Dobbs, the affidavit states.
White is currently in the Muskogee County Jail on a $100,000 bond and has been appointed an attorney.
