The Muskogee Police Department is holding its annual Campout for Kids December 9 at 2 p.m. to December 10 at 5 p.m. Muskogee Police Officers will be on location the entire time of the event and throughout the night.
This is an event that started several years ago to help the Muskogee Salvation Army and their Angel tree project. Every year police park the Special Operations Team truck on location, along with several police cars and a trailer. The goal is to have as many toys as possible donated that will then be given to the Salvation Army for their angel tree.
The campout will take place in front of Walmart this year on the north side of the road in front of Walmart between Murphy’s USA and Chik-fil-a.
