Muskogee Rotary Club ‘turns wine into water’ at its 12th annual Party in the Park fundraiser on Saturday, April 27 in beautiful Honor Heights Park. The event brings together an afternoon of wine, beer, and food tasting at The Papilion, the park’s butterfly garden. Listen to live jazz and enjoy what the park has to offer from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Participating wineries are Arri’bin Hills, Deep Branch, DiamondHead, FishTales, Native Spirits, OkeOzark, One Old Crazy Fart, Muskogee’s Pecan Creek, Summerside and Tidewater. Breweries attending are Coop Ale, Iron Monk and Muskogee Brewing Co. Food vendors include Boom-A-Rang Diner, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chava’s Mexican Restaurant, Great Harvest Bread Co., I Don’t Care Bar and Grill, Muskogee Golf Club, Red Lobster, Rib Crib and Split Log Cheese Farms.
Through its 501 (c)(3) foundation, proceeds from Party in the Park are used to provide clean drinking water in developing countries where water is unavailable or unclean.
Admission to Party in the Park is $20 in advance or $25 at the door and includes a souvenir wine glass. Tickets are available in Muskogee at Blossom’s Garden Center, Mabrey Bank, Armstrong Bank, and American Bank of Oklahoma. You can also purchase tickets online at www.rotarypip.org. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
