Nathan Scroggins

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help solving a year-old homicide in Pittsburg County, near McAlester.

February 26, 2016, 30-year-old Nathan David Scoggins was found dead in his home at 36 Last Resort Road near Longtown. He died from a gunshot wound.

A family member found Scoggins and contacted the sheriff’s office. The Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI special agents assist with the investigation. Agents have numerous pieces of possible evidence and have conducted dozens of interviews.
