Mason Everette Barbre, 22, of Muskogee is charged in Muskogee County District Court with six felonies and two misdemeanors in a incidents March 13, March 18 and March 19 with a woman he dated five years ago, according to documents filed with the case.
On March 13, around 9:30 p.m., he is accused of punching the woman in the face while attempting to force her to get into a vehicle against her will. Police report the woman had visible red marks on her face. She told police that Barbre tracks her across the Internet using her IP address as well.
On March 18, around 6:45 p.m., the woman told police Barbre placed a sheathed dagger to her side, forced her to ingest methamphetamine so he wouldn’t be caught with it and then he “continued to harass her via unwanted calls and text messages.” The affidavit from this incident further accuses him of tracking her down, upon finding her “started yanking her around in public near the ... residence by her backpack and her wrist.”
On March 19, around 7:45 p.m., he is accused of breaking into her apartment, threatening to kill her and her family, and then pulling a knife and telling her he would kill her if she didn’t get into the car. He is further accused of driving to Okay with her in the car, then back to Muskogee and then choking her when she tried to get out of the car.
He is charged with two counts of kidnapping, one count of first-degree burglary, domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery by strangulation, domestic abuse assault and battery, stalking and threatening to perform an act of violence.
