Allen Dale Law Jr., 57, of Muskogee is charged with third-degree arson in Muskogee County District Court after police say he set a field on fire while high on PCP.
According to an affidavit filed with the case, Law was seen by witnesses setting an empty lot on fire on the 700 block of North E. St around 4 p.m. on Jan. 4. When police arrived, Law allegedly pulled away from the officer attempting to arrest him, which led to a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer.
Police also say they found phencyclidine (PCP) on Law, which led to a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Police contend Law was also high on the substance at the time.
