Mayoral candidate Marlon Coleman, who garnered 40 percent of the vote in the Feb. 11 election, will participate in a meet-and-greet at the Greenwood Cultural Center in Tulsa tomorrow from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Coleman and Wayne Divelbiss are in a runoff for the seat.
The Historic Greenwood Chamber of Commerce is touting the possibility of Coleman raising “much excitement” about the possibility of a black mayor so close to Tulsa. The chamber celebrates the Greenwood District, which was The original Black Wall Street that was at the center of the Tulsa Race Massacre.
The event is free.
