Ronnie Sly, 41, and Krystal Hurt, 41 are both charged with felony sexual abuse of a child under 12 in the case of a five-year-old girl, according to documents filed with the cases.
The pair filed for divorce in 2019, but a decree was never issued.
The girl told investigators on March 6 that the pair sexually abused her by Sly penetrating her vagina with his fingers and later his penis. Hurt was watching, the girl said. In addition, a physical medical examination yielded results consistent with the girl’s story, an affidavit states.
Sly was convicted of domestic assault and battery by strangulation in 2016 and sentenced to two years deferred, which was later accelerated to 3 years in prison. He was also convicted of domestic abuse - assault and battery that year and sentenced to three years in prison, and on the same date, he was convicted of stalking in violation of probation or parole and sentenced to three years.
Hurt filed a protective order against Sly in 2019, claiming that Sly had shoved her and grabbed her by the throat during an argument about another woman. Neither party showed up in court last September, so the case was dismissed.
