It has come to our attention that some people running Internet Explorer have trouble viewing this site.
First, Internet Explorer is a massive piece of junk, and you should be using Safari, Chrome or Firefox, all of which are free and available for download. If your place of work won’t let you download a decent browser, you should complain, especially since Internet Explorer is full of security holes.
That said, some places can be jerks about it, so we will work to fix this site’s rendering in Internet Explorer, cursing Microsoft the entire time.
Internet Explorer is the bane of the existence of anyone who works hard to put together a good Web experience on their sites, because Microsoft refuses to support Web standards that EVERYONE else supports. While we work on this problem, we have advice for those who are stuck using Internet Explorer:
- First: Get a Macintosh
- If you can’t get a Mac, download one of the multiple, amazing FREE browsers available out there.
- If you’re stuck at a place that won’t let you download a good browser, wait for us to finish fixing this site so IE-handicapped people can view it properly
9:18 AM UPDATE: We have completed a preliminary Internet Explorer fix. If you’re using Internet Explorer, you should automatically see improvement. The major difference between the page for everyone without IE and you is you won’t see the weather and the calendar. We’re working on that, but until then, you should have access to everything else.
