Dillon Wiley

A Muskogee County Jail inmate attacked two jailers on Saturday afternoon, officials in the Sheriff’s Office have confirmed.

Witnesses say the door to Main Control and booking was not locked, allowing an inmate to make his way into Main Control, where the two female jailers were attacked.

No other details are yet available. We are pursuing more information.

UPDATE: Sheriff Rob Frazier just sent the following release:

On 08/05/2017 Muskogee County jail inmate, Dillon Wiley, attempted to escape the Muskogee County jail. Wiley assaulted two female employees, took keys from them, and attempted to escape out the main door where prisoners are brought into the jail. Wiley was apprehended by jail staff before he could get out of the jail. Both female employees were transported to the hospital where they were treated and released.

Wiley was booked into the Muskogee County Jail on 07/28/2017 for Possession of CDS and Eluding charges from Webbers Falls Police Department. Wiley also has holds from Comanche, Oklahoma, and Sequoyah Counties for pending charges in those counties.

Wiley will be charged with Attempted Escape and multiple counts of assault on an officer. This is an ongoing investigation by the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office.
