Hooked on Pedaling, an initiative supported by numerous Muskogee businesses to provide bicycles to underprivileged children, is delivering more than 200 bicycles today for Christmas.
Morgan Towing is delivering the bikes to Muskogee schools, including Hilldale, and Fort Gibson schools. In total 203 children will receive new bicycles.
“The goal for 2019 was to increase from last year’s 60 bicycles to 100,” Nik Morgan, who organized the initiative, said. “The community answered and we exceeded our goal by double.”
