Gov. Kevin Stitt today issued a plan to reopen businesses in the state starting on Friday.
On Friday, personal care businesses such as hair salons, barber shops and nail salons can open, but clients must stay in their cars until their appointment times, and social distancing must still be in effect.
On May 1, gyms, churches and dine-in restaurants may reopen, with social distancing still in effect.
On May 15, if virus numbers remain low, bars, funerals, weddings and non-essential travel may continue.
