Thomas Kyle Tyer, 30, of Fort Gibson is charged in Muskogee County District Court with aggravated assault and battery, assault and battery on an emergency medical technician, indecent exposure and threats to perform an act of violence, according to documents filed with the case.
On July 3, Tyer is accused of shoving his grandfather, 86, to the ground, causing the man to hit his eye on a doorknob, also injuring his arm. During the same incident, he is alleged to have tried to slap an emergency medical technician who arrived at the scene to help.
Tyer is then alleged to have exposed his genitals during the intent, and threatening Sherri Richie, saying he would shoot her and burn her house down. He the allegedly said he would slit a deputy’s throat and kill his own family.
