William Thomas Duncan, 78

Died Tuesday, July 7, 2020

William Thomas Duncan, 78, of Muskogee Oklahoma passed on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born on June 5, 1942 in Oxnard, California to Harvey and Nell (McColl) Duncan. William was a long-haul truck driver. He earned a Million Mile Safety Award from Air Products.

He married the love of his life, Marlowe (Boyles) Duncan, in Winter Haven, California on Oct 21, 1972. Together they raised nine children.

William and Marlowe enjoyed traveling all over the United States after retirement, including a four-month trip to Alaska. William was a hard working Christian man and loved helping with missionary work in Mexico. He was a quiet and kindhearted man who dearly cherished his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Nell Duncan; sister, Deanna Down; daughter, Brenda Cunningham; and niece, Carol Swinarski.

William is survived by his wife, Marlowe Duncan; sons, Steven Duncan and fiancé Sheila, Billy Duncan, and James Senay; daughters, Debbie Held and husband Roger, Alina Bevan and husband Steve, Stacy Cooper and husband Mark, Marie Redwine and husband Earl, and Eleanor Walters; grandchildren, LaChrisha, LaTasha, Jayson, Jenna, Sarah, Emily, Madison, J.D., Ryan, J.W., Gloria, Gherrit, Nichole, and Kate; great grandchildren, Cieanne, Kyra, Corbin, Ayden, Jet, Layla, Judy, Hunter, Fisher, Faylan, Jaxson, Maddy, Keler, and Jett; niece, Denise Baran and husband Steve; nephew, John Swinarski; his beloved dog Buddy; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of William Duncan will be scheduled at a later date.
