William Perry “Bill” Goad Sr, 88

Died Friday, October 9, 2020

William (Bill) Perry Goad Sr., 88, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Flossie (Smith) and John Perry Goad on January 2, 1932. On January 21, 1966, Bill married Dorothy Jean Chafin.
He worked at Corning Glassworks in Muskogee until he retired in 1984. He then started his second career in Real Estate and Home Building which became his passion. Bill enjoyed every aspect of building new homes and beautiful neighborhoods alongside his wife, Jean, in Muskogee Oklahoma. He took just as much pride in his own home and was known for his meticulous lawncare. If he wasn’t building houses, you could find him spending time with his friends both on and off the golf course.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jean of the home; son, William Perry Goad Jr. and wife Rita of Edmond, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Vicky Watkins of Broken Arrow, and Tammy Goad and wife Tara of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and loyal dog Lendy Goad of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Spencer Perry Goad and wife Vanessa, Kelci Fowler and husband Kevin, Parker Goad, Bryson Goad, Ashley Knickmeyer and husband John, Addison Watkins and wife Sandy; brother, Bobby Goad and wife Sandy of New Mexico; 2 sisters, Corine Hutson and husband Earl of Muskogee, Juanita Ferguson of Texas; along with 9 great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Donald Goad, Gene Kearns, Kenneth Goad, and Clarence Goad; and 4 sisters, Florine Ashby, Betty Phillips, Joyce Davis, and Wanda Brewer.
A service celebrating the life of William (Bill) Perry Goad Sr. will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion with William Perry Goad Jr. officiating. Grandsons Spencer Goad, Addison Watkins, Parker Goad, and Bryson Goad will be serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will be following COVID guidelines for social distancing and requests guests to do the same. Masks will be provided.
