Wanda Louise Dugan, 82, of Muskogee, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was born November 6, 1938 in Porter, Oklahoma to Oscar Lee and Polly L. (Jenkins) Seals.
Wanda started volunteering at Edison Elementary School in 1983 and began working as the school secretary in 1988. She would later move from elementary to West High Middle School and then on to Alice Robertson where she retired in 2004.
She was an active member of Brushy Mountain Baptist Church for many years and faithfully served as the church secretary for 30+ years.
Wanda will always be remembered for her love for her family and loved spoiling all her family; especially the grandbabies.
She married Kenton Dugan on January 17, 1978.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Polly Seals; late husband, Tom Harris; granddaughter, Crystal Yandell-Williams; brother, M. L. Seals; and sister, Margaret Anderson.
Wanda is survived by her 5 daughters, Barbara Robinson (Norris), Donna Zarnke (Jeff), Diane Goad (Mark), Judy Lewis (Pedro), and Christina Capps, all of Muskogee; husband, Kenton Dugan of Muskogee; 18 grandchildren; 23 ½ great-grandchildren; 3 ½ great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Wright, Sue Baker, and Patty Daniels; along with other family members and friends.
Funeral services celebrating Wanda’s life will be 10AM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Haile officiating. Interment will follow at Brushy Mountain Cemetery with grandsons, Michael Yandell, Jeffrey Zarnke, Tommy Joe Hutson, Dakota Lewis, Bret Capps, and Shaun Yandell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all her grandsons.
