Vanessa Lynn Glass, 51, a lifetime resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 2, 2019. She was born February 7, 1968 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Vanessa attended Irving Elementary, West Jr. High School, and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1986.
She married the love of her life, Hank Glass, on June 14, 1991. They shared more than 19 years of life and marriage together until Hank passed on December 15, 2010.
Vanessa loved nothing more than being a mom to her boys; a loving wife to her husband; and MiMi to her grandson, Fisher Glass.
She enjoyed antique shopping, going to garage sales, working out, playing softball, and going skating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Glass; mother, Myrna Sanders; father, Thomas Sanders; grandparents, Oweta and Clark Allen, Fern and Bill Sanders; sister, Tammy Lou Biggs; and cousin, Destrie Frazier-Winters.
Vanessa is survived by her son, Hunter Glass and wife Morgan and grandson, Fisher Glass, and her son, Branson Glass; sister, Kristina Hight; brother-in-law, Randy Reeve; niece, Tyler; nephew, Jimmy Hight; aunt and uncle, Debby and Jerry Frazier; cousins, Dustin Frazier and wife Melissa and their children, Emily and Taylor Frazier, Shelby and Jordan Carbone, Jenna Winters, Casey, Katie, and Charlotte Winters; in-laws, Joey and Sandra Glass; sister-in-law, Terry Parks; aunt, Deanna Miller; step-mother, Sam Biggs; along with other family members and many friends who will greatly miss her.
Funeral services celebrating Vanessa’s life will be 2PM, Friday, September 6, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter Glass, Branson Glass, Randy Reeve, and James Hight.
