Toni Lea Guinn, 50, of Muskogee, was born January 30, 1971 in Muskogee, OK to Albert and Brenda Guinn and peacefully passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 in Tahlequah, OK.
Toni graduated from Tahlequah High School with the class of 89’ and furthered her education at Northeastern State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She started her career with Whitlock Packaging/Refresco where she worked in the accounting department and as the inventory coordinator for 23 years. Recently, Toni worked for the Department of Corrections as an Administrative Technician. Toni enjoyed trips to the beach in Florida, being a Nana to Kye, Shania and Demi, shopping, camping, all types of music and to travel usually to a beach somewhere. She was a volunteer for Relay for Life where she played a significant role. Her passion in life was her family and loved spending time with them. Toni loved helping others. Her legacy of love, devotion and her generosity will live on through her family. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Toni was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.L. and Margarette Guinn; grandfather, J.R. Perry; and step father, Charlie Armstrong.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Brenda Armstrong of Fort Gibson; father, Al Guinn and wife Charlotte of Tahlequah; brother, Terry Guinn and wife Ann of Tahlequah; daughter, Desiree Wofford of Muskogee; grandkids, Kye, Shania and Demi of Muskogee; grandmother, Martha Perry of Vian; nieces and nephews, Morgan, Ashlyn and Gavin of Tahlequah; uncle, Donald Perry and wife Joy of Vian; special friend, Carrie Thornton of Muskogee; faithful companion, Scruffy; a host of cousins, extended family and many friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with the family receiving friends 5PM-7PM.
A service celebrating Toni’s life is scheduled for 1PM, Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Park Hill Baptist Church in Park Hill, OK with Pastor Chip Hinds officiating.
Mask are required at the church service.
Committal prayers and interment will follow in the Holland Cemetery with Gene McDowell, Brandon Horn, Rodney Chuculate, Wayne Johnson, James Greathouse and David Taylor serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Gavin Guinn and Kye Coppin.
