Tommy Eugene Talton was born on November 29, 1934 to Chris Sr. and Emegine Talton.

Tommy was a retired Air Force Veteran, who after serving 24 years, moved back home to Okmulgee to be closer to his family. He worked for the city of Okmulgee as well as Kelco prior to his retirement. He was very active in his community, serving in organizations such as the Fraternal Order of Free and Accepted Masons and The American Legion. Tommy was very giving and was faithful in supporting countless charitable organizations every month. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting with family and friends.

Tommy was proceeded in death by his parents Chris Sr. and Emegine Talton and brothers Chris Talton Jr. and Herbert Talton

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of sixty- one years, Vonda Talton. His sons Tommy Tlton Jr., Lawrence McGee, Victor Talton and Michael Talton. His daughters Debra Norwood (Derwin) and Rosa Carr. His sisters Patsy Parker, Verna Cole and Deborah Ibe (Michael) and brothers Charles Talton, Gay Talton (Leatrice) and Fred Williams (Linda). Along with a host of grandchildren, niece and nephews, family and close friends.

The family of Tommy Talton would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and condolences. He was an amazing Grandfather, Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and friend.

A Service of Memory will be conducted, Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in Mt Zion Baptist Church, 1500 N. Miami St. Okmulgee, OK with Pastor Douglas Carrington, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Ft. Gibson National cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK. Public visitation, Wednesday, Feb. 17th in Precious Memories Chapel/House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee, during the hours of 1:00 P.M. until 5 p.m.
