Mickey was an educator at Webbers Falls Elementary School for 20 years until her retirement in 1994. Mickey was also a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Warner. Grandchildren: Jessica Randolph and Michael of Vian, OK; Megan Collins and Josh Williams of Inman, KS; and Katelyn McMullin and Zachary of Comanche, OK. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters: Gladys Badgwell (Lawrence); Irene Swain (Kenneth); bothers: Richard Barnes, Jr. and Gene Barnes (Della); sister-in-law, Louise Patterson (Alva).
A celebration of Mickey’s life will be Monday, November 18th, 2019 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Warner with Blaine Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bradley Kilpatrick, Josh Stafford, Michael Randolph, Zachary McMullin, Josh Williams, and Kevin Wallis.
The family would like to thank Dr. Faisal Wasi, Encompass Home Health and all the nurses and aids at the skilled units for taking care of Mickey. The family would also like a special thank you to Denise Johnson for her loving care and patience.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donation be made to Warner First Baptist Church “Backpack for Kids”.
