Ronna Rae Milligan (Hales), 56

Born Monday, September 3, 1962

Died Friday, June 21, 2019

Ronna passed away peacefully with her family at bedside at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa on Friday June 21, 2019. Ronna was the oldest daughter of Ronnie and Donna (Hayden) Hales, born in Muskogee, OK. Ronna grew up in Warner, OK and graduated from Warner High School in 1980. Ronna was married to her best friend and high school sweetheart for almost 39 years.

She held many jobs, but her favorite was “mom” and “nana”. Ronna loved her grandchildren so much. She had a beautiful voice and loved music of all kinds. She was always singing. She sang to her kids, grandchildren, strangers you name it.

Ronna loved sports, playing both basketball and softball in her younger years and watching her children play sports growing up. Ronna had to keep stats at her kid’s sports games, otherwise she might have been in trouble for yelling. Ronna never met a stranger, had lots of friends, and was referred to as the “sweetest person”.

Ronna is survived by her husband Harlis Milligan of Muskogee and her father, Ronnie Hales of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by her three children, Kimberlee Milligan of Oklahoma City, Ronnie Milligan (Sarah) of Webbers Falls, and Kristi Milligan (R.J. Wofford) of Muskogee. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Jaylen Milligan, Jaiden Wofford, Eli Milligan, and Harper Milligan with one more on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Bryan Hales, Dana Webb (Duane) and Bill Fraser (Mary), as well as many nieces and nephews and lifelong best friend Cindy Stidham (Randy). She was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother, Donna Lee Hales.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 26, 2019 at the Warner First Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating.
