Robert Lloyd Cox, 47, of Fort Gibson, was born June 23, 1972 in Houston, Texas to Robert and Elizabeth (Greene) Cox and peacefully passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Tahlequah.
Robert received his formal education and attended college. He loved to travel and enjoyed driving a truck. Robert married Tina Triplett on April 28, 2018 in Fort Gibson. He enjoyed fishing and took pride in catching more fish than Tina. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and being a BBQ grill master. He had a passion of making people laugh and singing about fishing in his truck. He was a loving father and was proud of his kids. He enjoyed throwing a tennis ball to Shadow, his dog. Robert was a member of the American Legion Sons and donated his time to making fund raising crafts for the American Legion Post 20 in Fort Gibson.
Robert is survived by his wife, Tina of the home, his sons, Justin Cox of Burkburnett, Texas, and Deakon Cox of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughter, Autumn Cox of Fort Worth, Texas; his parents of Burkburnett, Texas; his sister, Sharon Cox of New Castle, Texas; his grandchildren, Hanalee Cox, Hadelyn Cox, Brayden Cox and Mason Killian all of Burkburnett, Texas, his mother in law and father in law, Loretta Hernandez and Nieves Hernandez of Muskogee; his brother in laws, Jeff Triplett and family of Muskogee, and James Hight and family of Muskogee, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews and many friends.
Robert’s wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
