Raymond W. Mosteller, 90

Died Monday, July 8, 2019

Raymond W. Mosteller, 90, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, July 8, 2019. He was born on May 23, 1929 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Charles Clayton Mosteller and Ruth Jewel (Keaton) Mosteller. Raymond married the love of his life Margaret Ellen (Fultz) Mosteller on October 13, 1951 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Raymond worked at Fansteel Metals through 34 years of his life, before retiring in 1991. He also was a farmer, worked on drilling rigs, and worked as a mechanic. He served in the 45th infantry in the Army National Guard during the Korean War. He loved gardening, fishing, riding motorcycles, and bluegrass music. He was a proud blood donor to Red Cross; he gave over 20 gallons. Raymond was just a jack of all trades, he did carpentry, and even built his own shop and home.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Clayton Mosteller and Ruth Jewel (Keaton) Mosteller.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Fultz) Mosteller of Muskogee, OK; sons, Glen Mosteller and wife Patti of Owasso, OK, and Ted Mosteller and wife Laura of Muskogee, OK; brother, Cleon Mosteller of Haskell, OK; grandchildren, Brian Mosteller and wife Rachel of Oro Valley, AZ, Andrea Uhl and husband Mathias of Naurod, Germany, Lindsey Funk and husband Chris of Oklahoma City, OK; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Sam Mosteller and Laine Margaret Funk; and many special nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
A celebration of Raymond’s life will be 10:00am Friday, July 12, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Wade Mosteller officiating. Interment will follow at Haskell Cemetery with Brian Mosteller, Mathias Uhl, Chris Funk, Michael Bolding, Beaver Bolding, and Matt Mosteller serving as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion of Haskell.
