THINGS TO DO

Phyllis Jean Robinson, 84

Born Friday, September 3, 1937

Died Sunday, January 9, 2022

Phyllis Jean Robinson 84, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her home in Muskogee, OK.
Phyllis was born on September 3, 1937, in Muskogee, OK. She was married to her late husband Billy Robinson, for 58 years, whom she is preceded in death by. She is also preceded in death by her parents Edith and Ray Fletcher, brothers Charles “Butch” Fletcher and Johnny Lawson and grandson Michael Lowrimore. She is survived by her siblings Jack and Becky Fletcher; sister-in-law, Linda Fletcher; children, Mark and Marla Robinson and Terry Robinson; grandchildren, Dustin and Lana Robinson, April and Kirk McBride, Justin Robinson and Rachel Robinson; great grandchildren, Tayden Robinson, Burr Robinson, Jaylee Robinson, Rider Robinson, Landon Robinson, Kannon Robinson, Kardon Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Caitlyn Robinson, Mackenzie McBride, and Lyric Robinson, great-great grandchild Caison, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to being a bit ornery every once in a while, one of Phyllis’ favorite things to do was to travel. She loved going camping and spending time on the lake. She loved to craft, fish, and was quite the card shark. She didn’t let 80 stop her from hopping on the back of a jet ski and doing some fast and fun laps around the lake. There was not a card game made she didn’t have mastered in a matter of hours, and she loved giving you a hard time when she would win.
After retirement from Corning Glass, she couldn’t wait until Christmas. It was mainly because of the day after, she and her husband would load in the RV and head to South Texas for the winter with their many friends. She traveled all over and couldn’t wait to share the funny stories that came along with it. She loved to laugh and have a good time. She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Pratt officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee, OK.
