Pauline Maxine Dix, 85, Muskogee, OK passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was born on February 3, 1936 to Ernest Jennings Brown and Dorothy Elizabeth Rutherford in Clifton Forge, VA.
Nanny Pauline worked as a seamstress for Appomattox Sewing factory for many years until retiring in 1995. Shopping and going dancing were some of her favorite things to do. She loved mornings and would wake up every day at 4 A.M. to get ready for her day.
She was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church. Pauline loved her church family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Brown; mother, Dorothy Rutherford; husband, Kinkel Campbell; husband, William Dix; brothers, Charles Brown and Kenneth Brown.
She is survived by her son, James C. Campbell and wife Linda; granddaughters, Kristie Dugan, Sheryl Cruse, Wendy Seabolt, and Mary McFadden; great-grandchildren, Whitney Huff, Tyler Grandstaff, Cassidy Cruse, Dalton Cruse, Kenzie Cruse, Devon Seabolt, Aubree Seabolt, Dakota McFadden, Hailey McFadden, Kinsleigh Grandstaff, Liam Foster, and Peyton Grandstaff.
A celebration of Pauline’s life will be 2pm, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Cole officiating.
