Patricia Ann (Steveson) Longan-Looney, 67, of Fort Gibson was born
December 11, 1951 to Dawson Leon and Julia Joyce (Bowden) Steveson in Muskogee, OK and passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 in Muskogee.
She received her formal education at Fort Gibson Schools and was a lifelong resident of Fort Gibson, OK. Her passion in life was running businesses, riding motorcycles and spending quality time with family and friends. Pat was an entrepreneur who owned and managed Cedar Inn Motel, Pat’s Rentals, and the former Iron Skillet and Curves in Fort Gibson. Pat always loved adventures, she embraced life to the fullest, extremely loyal and honest with everyone, always there to help, easy to forgive, gave generously and lived her life with no fear of anything. She will be missed by all that knew her.
On September 1, 2009 she married Danny Looney in Fort Gibson and was a faithful member of Calvary Faith Church, in Fort Gibson, OK. Her legacy of devotion, business savvy and love will live on through the lives of her family.
She was preceded in death by her father; Leon Steveson; and brother, Ray Steveson.
Pat is survived by her husband; Danny Looney of the home; daughters, Andrea McElmurry and husband Shannon of Fort Gibson, Gina Pruitt and Michael Kerr of Fort Gibson; mother, Joyce Steveson of Fort Gibson; brother, David Steveson and wife Kathy of Broken Arrow; sister, Carol Westerman of Fort Gibson granddaughter, Rachel McElmurry; grandsons, Alex McElmurry, Leroy Pruitt, Randall Pruitt, Turner Pruitt and Cason Kerr all of Fort Gibson; extended family and many friends.
A memorial service celebrating Patricia’s life will be noon Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Calvary Faith Church in Fort Gibson with Pastor Fred Huffman officiating. Committal prayers and inurnment will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson.
