Norma Jean Peters, 95

Born Thursday, March 29, 1923

Died Friday, January 11, 2019

Norma Jean Peters, 95, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 with her family at her side. She was born March 29, 1923 in Gore, Oklahoma to Oscar E. and Nettie N. (Runyon) Henry where she grew up and attended public school.
Norma married Aaron Odell Peters on August 14, 1954 in Carson City, Nevada. They shared many years of life and marriage together and were blessed with 4 children.
She enjoyed gardening, camping, four wheeling, cooking, and canning. She loved nothing more than making a home for her family and spending time with them.
Norma will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aaron (Doc) Peters; and her 8 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Aaron B. Peters, Sandra N. Davidson and husband Gary, Larry David Peters and wife Martha, and Cheryl A. Peters, all of Muskogee; grandchildren, Robert Clark, Jeff Clark, Zachary Peters, Dustin Peters, Megan George, Sarah Peters, Catherine Wiedel, David Peters; great-grandchildren, Michael Clark, Alec Clark, Avery Clark, Hailey Peters, Cooper George, Caleb George, and Carson George, Kateri Jone, Stevie Henry, Brody Wiedel, and Wyatt Wiedel; 2 great-great grandchildren; along with other family members.
Funeral services celebrating Norma’s life will be 1PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kurt Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
