Mildred Noblin Henderson, 95

Mildred Louise Noblin Henderson, 95, of Muskogee, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 6, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on August 10, 1925 at the Watts Ranch in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. Mildred graduated from high school in Hartshorne, then continued her education at Southeastern State College and Oklahoma State University where she received a lifetime teaching certificate. She taught school in McAlester for several years before raising her family.
Mildred married Billy Ray Noblin on November 3, 1949 and they owned Noblin Wholesale. Mildred was a homemaker until 1970 when she went to work at Noblin Wholesale. Billy preceded her in death on March 29, 1973.
She married R.E. “Chub” Henderson on October 1, 1982 and they owned Henderson Coffee. Chub passed away on November 25, 2006.
Mildred was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She loved traveling, enjoyed reading and lived for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Martha Jane (Ott) Watts and Ray and Kearney Noblin; both of her husbands; son-in-law, Zoltan Varga; grandson, Brent R. Noblin; siblings, Mose A. Watts, Johnny Clyde Watts and Frances L. Spears.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Sherry K. Varga, and Billie Jane Noblin Flinn and husband Roy Flinn, Jr. all of Muskogee, OK; granddaughter, Erin Cook and husband Steve of Ft. Gibson, OK; great-grandchildren, Alexis Jane Cook, Madison Elizabeth Cook, Ella Louise Cook, and Colby Cook and wife, Laura; great-great-grandchildren, Max and Ava Cook; sister Nancy Miller; special nieces, Betty Compton and Jayna Santine; many other nieces and nephews; and her special cat, Nigel.
The family would like to thank Kindful Hospice for their wonderful care and caregivers, Linda Simmons, Leeanna Billings, Martha Bolden, Mildred Harvey, Zelma Simmons and Marcia Guthrie for their love and care of Mildred.

A graveside service in honor of Mildred’s life will be 11AM, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Roger Miller officiating.
