Martha Sharon Alexander, 60, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. She was born on June 4, 1960 to Elza and Nancy Howze in Claremore, OK. She attended Clayton High School and graduated in 1978.
Martha enjoyed cooking, sewing, listening to classic rock music, drinking Diet Coke, smoking Marlboro 100’s, watching Westerns, playing games, attending grandchildren activities and most of all loved spending time with her family. Martha resided in Muskogee with her daughter Rachel and husband Chris.
She was of Church of Christ faith.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Elza and Nancy Howze; and brother, Arnold Clifton Howze.
Martha is survived by sons, Jeremy and Courtney Alexander of Wilburton, OK, Shadoe Harshaw and girlfriend Jody Scott of Holdenville, OK; daughter Rachel and Chris Williams of Muskogee, OK; longtime friend, Allen Harshaw of Holdenville, OK; best fur friend, Annabella; grandchildren, Alexis, Jasmine, Abbie, Paisleigh, MaLeah, Link, Liam, Raylee and Baylee; sister, Norma and Michael Adcock of Quinton, OK; brother, Jimmy and Martha Howze of Muse, OK; nephews, Clifton and Shannon of Coweta, OK, Wyatt Howze of Nashoba, OK, Tommy and Destiny of Waynesboro, GA; nieces, Dakota and Colton Fleming of Antlers, OK, Codi Berry of Colorado, Cheyenne Stout of Portland, TX and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services celebrating Martha’s life will be at 11am, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Christian Chapel Church with Pastor Jerry Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Spur Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Williams, Michael H Adcock, Clifton Adcock, Michael C Adcock, Gage Adcock, Jimmy Howze, Allen Harshaw and Jake Wimmer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Williams and Shadoe Harshaw.
