Martha Ann Millet, 73, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away October 3, 2020. She was born on April 14, 1947 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Charlie and Emma (Phillips) Deerinwater. She attended public schools and graduated from Braggs High School.
Martha married the love of her life, Erbie L. Millet on September 13, 1999. They were together for 38 years and shared 21 years of marriage.
She had a passion for cooking which served her well in her occupation of being a cook and a caterer.
She was a faithful and active member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir, and participated in mission trips to Mexico.
Martha enjoyed traveling, watching the NBA, spending time with her family, but her greatest love was her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending their many sporting events, band concerts and competitions. She will always be remembered as a proud grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erbie Millet; parents, Charlie and Emma Deerinwater; maternal grandparents Ahama and Kahorkah (Sootawakeky) Phillips; paternal grandparents, Keener and Polly (Arch) Deerinwater; siblings, Benny Deerinwater and Ruby Fixico; and niece, Amanda J. Deerinwater.
Martha is survived by her children, Rhonda Daniel, Bonnie and Shane Cook, Emma Kay Romero, Jo Lynn and Armando Moreno, all of Eufaula; siblings, Junior and wife Sharon Deerinwater of Morris, Louie Deerinwater of Tahlequah, Anna Lou Deerinwater Craft of Morris, Ray and wife Renee Deerinwater of Inola; grandchildren, Andrea, Erin, Little Louie, Bo, Brody, Emily, Tori, Clayton, Dominic, Lily, Alexis, Isabella, Ava; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, Madison, Connor, Trystan, Blade, Natalee, Ella, Lake, Kai, Isaiah, Hazel, Lyam; aunt, Darlene Phillips Tyler of Braggs; step children, Ronnie and wife Mary of Fritch, TX, Donna Millet of New Mexico, Allyne and husband Harold Bottoms of Prairie Grove, AR, Dennis and Judy Millet of Missouri; along with many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Martha’s life will be celebrated at 2p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor L.B. Wildcat officiating. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Braggs, OK.
Pallbearers will be Luis Angel Romero III, Bo Patrick McClanahan, Brody Paul McClanahan, Clayton Winford Cook, Dominic Josue Hernandez, Christopher J. Deerinwater, Steven Blake Deerinwater, and Sequoyah Lance Deerinwater. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Allen Deerinwater, Nicholas Mason Scott, Luis Angel Romero Jr., Shane Cook, Armando Moreno, and Ronnie Millet Jr.
