Leroy Bo Craig Jr., 71

Died Wednesday, March 13, 2019

Leroy Bo Craig Jr., was born August 9, 1947 to Leroy Bo Craig, Sr. and Maggie Smith in Muskogee, OK.

He was baptized at Hope Lutheran where he was a faithful member for thirty years.

Leroy graduated from the historic Manual Training High School, Muskogee, OK; with the class of 1967.

Leroy was a hard worker. He always had two or more jobs. His special job was a Jimmy Buchanan Groceries Store on South Fourth Street, Muskogee, OK.

Leroy was a vibrant young man. He lost his eye at the age of seven in a accident playing Cowboys and Indians.

As an adult, he loved playing Dominoes, listening to music and he loved to socialize. Leroy never met a stranger.

Leroy left Muskogee, OK; in 2006 he made Longview, TX; his new home. He worked at Walmart for eleven years. Leroy joined and became an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Longview, TX; under the direction of Pastor Roger Strickland. He later returned to Muskogee in 2017, because of his health.

Leroy passed away, Tuesday evening, March 12, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Billy Ray and Harvey Craig.

Those left to cherish his memory, his son, Andre Craig, Texas, his daughter, Bridgett (Lawrence) Talbott, Okalhoma City, OK; Perry of Muskogee, OK Ginger of Virginia and SkyChris of Tulsa, OK, his granddaughter, Kenisha (Curtis) Ogletree of Alabama and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Ogletree of Alabama, five sisters, Ocie, Helen, Mary, Avalon and Sonya and one brother, Richard Craig.

A Home Going Service is scheduled, Thursday, March 21, 2019, 11:00 a.m., New Zion Baptist Church, 901 N 3rd St, Muskogee, OK, Pastor Gary Mitchum, offering words of comfort.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Homes.
