Lavern O’Laughlin, 80

Died Tuesday, July 9, 2019

Lavern O’Laughlin, 80, of Muskogee was born June 17, 1939 in McFarland, California to William and Inola (Neff) Underwood and passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Tulsa, OK.
Lavern met and married the love of her life, Willis Clyde O’Laughlin Sr. on July 24, 1958 in Florence, Arizona. He preceded her in death July 8, 2008.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed taking care of her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to play bingo, watch western movies and traveling, especially to Arizona to enjoy the warmer weather and the beautiful scenery.
Lavern was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Clyde O’Laughlin Sr; sons, Willis Clyde O’Laughlin Jr, Earl Benton O’Laughlin and Steven Lee O’Laughlin.
She is survived by her daughters; Bonnie Coffey and husband Johnny of Muskogee, OK and Karen Trevail and husband Gene of Jacksonville, Florida; son, Joe O’Laughlin of Muskogee, OK; eleven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Graveside services celebrating Lavern’s life will be held 10:00AM Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK with Pastor Junior Jenkins officiating.
