Kevin Dean Brannon, 55

Born Tuesday, August 4, 1964

Died Monday, January 20, 2020

Kevin Dean Brannon, 55, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Harold Dean Brannon and Jo Ann (Langton) Brannon on August 4, 1964. He graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1982. Attended NSU in Tahlequah for one year.
Kevin was the owner of Carwash Systems, Inc., and Buggy Bath Carwashes for many years. His favorite hobbies included running “Pop Pop’s Daycare”, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with the “Mild Hogs” motorcycle club, and horseback riding. In his younger days, he was an avid dirt bike racer. He also loved to cook and host gatherings for his friends and family. In his own words, however, his world centered around taking care of and loving his children and grandchildren. Kevin was a Christian that possessed a servant’s heart. He never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand to anyone in the community who needed it. Kevin was an expert practical joker and spinner of humorous yarns. He loved sharing the gift of laughter with everyone he knew even if it meant he was, at times, the brunt of the joke.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Harold Brannon; grandparents, Joe and Agatha Langton and Virgil and Vonah Brannon.
He is survived by his daughters, Mikaela Miller and husband Aaron Miller of Fort Gibson, Makenzie Brannon and fiancé Cameron Mosteller of Muskogee, Mea Brannon of Muskogee; grandchildren, Luke and Ava Miller of Fort Gibson, and Lane Brannon of Muskogee; mother, Jo Ann Brannon of Fort Gibson; brother, Doug Brannon and wife Beth of Fort Gibson; nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Mary Barnes of Porum, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be 10:00am Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Fort Gibson Church of Christ with Terry Hackworth and Jerry Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Citizen’s Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Steve Fleak, Bryan Crowder, Jerry Youngblood, Robbie Cooper, Toby Brantley, and Gary Paul Wilks serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Webster, Ted Vickrey, Mike Berkenbile, Scott Crowder, Brent Eller, and Chase Crowder.
