Kelsee Jolynn (Abernathy) Sevier, 23, of Fort Gibson, OK was born February 26, 1997 in Joplin, MO to Ronald Abernathy and Mindee (Hull) Bebee and received her angel wings on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.
Kelsee attended school in Baxter Springs, KS and furthered her education at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. She was currently studying at the ATA College for Sonography. In high school, Kelsee played softball and ran on the track team. She enjoyed baking pies and cookies. She was very talented in painting, having painted the signs for her wedding. Kelsee was well versed in crafting, making Christmas gifts for her brother and sisters. She met and later married the love of her life, Shane Sevier on August 22, 2020 in Fort Gibson. Kelsee loved her family fiercely and leaves a legacy of love and devotion.
Kelsee was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jim Abernathy; paternal great-grandmother, Annarita Delmont; maternal great-grandfather, Bob Tanner; maternal great-grandmother, Geneva Tanner; and grandfather in law, Sal Sevier.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband and daughter, Shane and Jaylee, both of the home; mother and father, Mindee and Travis Bebee of Willard, MO; sisters, Cydnee Hall of Galena, MO; Baylee Gastineau, Cloee Bebee, and Molee Bebee all of Willard, MO; brother, Owen Gastineau of Willard, MO; father and mother in law, David and Julie Sevier of Fort Gibson, OK; brother in law, Ryan Sevier of Fort Gibson, OK; maternal grandparents, Barbara and David Coble of Columbus, KS; paternal grandmother, Johanna Abernathy of Quapaw, OK; grandparents in law, Russell and Ginger Thouvenel of Fort Gibson, OK; grandmother in law, Edie Sevier of Tahlequah, OK; extended family and many friends.
A celebration of Kelseeā€™s life will be 1:00PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Crescent Valley Baptist Church on Highway 62 between Fort Gibson and Tahlequah with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating. Viewing will be held before the service, 11:00AM-12:30PM at the Church.
Committal prayers and interment will follow in the Holland Cemetery with Ryan Sevier, Owen Gastineau, Nathan Hull, Jacob Corbell, Elijah Trammel, and Justin Jimenez serving as casket bearers.
