Died Monday, November 9, 2020

Kathy Sue Montgomery, 66, of Muskogee, OK entered heaven’s gates on November 9, 2020. She was born on July 6, 1954 to Billy Guy Saylor and Lillie Viola (Owen) Saylor in Muskogee, OK. Kathy aka ‘Sudie’ attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1972. She worked as a line inspector for Zapata Industries for several years then she went back to school attaining an associate degree in business.
She married the love of her life and best friend, Ronald Bruce Montgomery, on November 29, 1975 in Muskogee, OK. They shared many happy years of marriage and memories together.
Kathy loved horses and listening to anything by Elvis Presley. She was an avid sports fan for the St. Louis Cardinals and OSU football. She most importantly loved to watch any Hallmark Christmas movie or old movie with her family. She was an exceptional daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be greatly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Saylor; sister, Brenda Smith; son, Nick Montgomery; father-in-law, Elmer Montgomery; mother-in-law, Betty Sanders.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Montgomery of Muskogee, OK; son, Erik Montgomery and wife Kerri of Choctaw, OK; daughter, Sarah Montgomery of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Montgomery of Choctaw, OK, Caleb and Bailee Russell of Muskogee, OK, Lane Norrid of Muskogee, OK, Henley Kowaleski of Muskogee, OK; mother, Lillie Saylor of Muskogee, OK; sister, Linda Jenkins and husband Larry of Broken Arrow, OK; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Brenda Taylor of OKC, OK; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A family conducted celebration of Kathy Sue Montgomery’s life will be 10 A.M. Monday, November 16, 2020 at Agnew Cemetery with Mr. Steve Taylor officiating.
