Judith Ann Giem, 80, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. She was born on February 5, 1940 to Lawrence and Julia White in Lake City, Minnesota. She attended and graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Judy married the love of her life, Clyde Leo Giem, on September 5, 1959 in Kellogg, Minnesota. They shared over 60 years of life and marriage together.
Judy enjoyed going fishing, traveling and camping with her family. She also enjoyed watching her birds and loved her dogs unconditionally. She loved taking care of her family and being with them whenever she had a chance. Judy will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Julia White; and her son, Jerry Giem.
Judy is survived by her children, John Giem and wife Pattie of Grove Springs, MO, Joe Giem and wife Tammie of Muskogee, OK, and Julie Battenfield and husband Marty of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Ashley Lindy and husband Alan of Rogers, AR, Justin Battenfield and wife Breezy of Edmond, OK, Tyler Giem of Grove Springs, MO, Jared Giem of Muskogee, OK and Josh Giem and wife Hope of Muskogee, OK; great-grandchildren, Ella and Bennett Lindy, Tenley and Callaway Battenfield; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be 1PM, Friday, February 14, 2020 at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Cristler as celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Justin Battenfield, Jared Giem, Josh Giem, Marty Battenfield, Alan Lindy, and Tyler Giem serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will Ashley Lindy, Breezy Battenfield, Hope Giem and Bethany Beachel.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Marzha Garcia and Judy’s Girlie Girls that took such great care of her.
