John Joseph Spencer,59, passed away from this earth on June 1, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1962 to Floyd and Betty Spencer in Kingfisher, OK.
John graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1980. He attended UCO from 1980-1983 where he was part of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.
John married the love of his life and best friend, Rhonda Jean Walton on April 11, 1992. They have spent the last 30 years building a life together and making precious memories.
John retired from Joe Cooper Ford in 2019. He was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church from 1998-2008, Crossings Community Church 2005-2017 and current member of Life Church.
John and Rhonda moved to Lake Eufaula 2 years ago after retiring and were living the dream. John designed their home to be the perfect place to live and enjoy. He loved everyone but found the lake to be his favorite place with the best lake family ever!
John was known as a loving, gentle and caring man. If you wanted a light in the room or help fixing anything you would invite John. He always brought joy and excitement to every situation. John never met a stranger. He would welcome them into his life as a new friend. John was a hard worker and creative in many ways. John had an infectious personality and could make anyone laugh. John was always coming up with different ways to do things. He was a great husband, dad and friend. He will truly be missed.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Betty Spencer of Kingfisher, OK and sister, Sally Stratton of Alma, KS.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Spencer of Porum, OK; daughter, Stacy (Seth) Kastner of Oklahoma City, OK; sons, Ryan (Amy) McWhorter of Guthrie, Andrew Spencer of Yukon, OK, Dakota Malone and girlfriend, Monica Casillas of Yukon, OK; grandchildren, Madilyn and Cooper McWhorter of Guthrie, OK; sisters, Patti Caughell of Kingfisher, OK and Sherry Spencer of Edmond, OK; mother-in-law, Beverly Wittrock of Cashion, OK; and many nieces, nephews and friends that adored him.
Family conducted memorial services will be held at 11am on June 19, 2021 at LifeChurch at 9001 Broadway Ext, Oklahoma City, OK.
