Died Wednesday, August 5, 2020

Jodi Lynnetta Jones-Sallis, of Fort Gibson, OK, passed away August 5, 2020 at the age of 34 in Muskogee, OK. Jodi was a loving daughter, wife, and mother. She was the desire of her mother’s heart. Jodi was born to Jody Jones and Kasa Watson on January 19, 1986 in Tulsa, OK. She received her formal education in the Muskogee Public School System. Jodi went on to receive her associate’s degree from Tulsa Community College, where she studied interior design. Jodi enjoyed the company of family and friends every chance she got. What few years she had, were lived to the fullest extent. She always enjoyed a good joke and loved to laugh. Jodi loved interior design, crafting, animals, had a big interest in philosophy, and children. We will miss seeing her sweet sweet face, and she will be sorely missed by all who she touched during her life. She is lovingly survived by her mother, Kasa Watson of Muskogee; father, Jody Jones of Muskogee; husband; Greg Sallis of Fort Gibson; her daughters, Paris Taylor, Ma’Lia Sallis both of Fort Gibson; grandmother, Mary Nobles of Broken Arrow; half-brothers, Douglas Jones of Fort Gibson and Colin Watson of Muskogee; half-sister, Sarah Glass of Muskogee; uncles, Kevin and Kyle McCasling both of Broken Arrow; uncles and aunts, Ricky and Karen Dixon of Warner, Carl and Debbie Shipley of Warner; her aunt, Ginny Honea of Tulsa; step-fathers, Kurt Watson and David Pratte both of Muskogee; step-mother, Maisie Ridout of Muskogee; step-sister, Jami Pratte; and step-brother J.D. Pratte both of Muskogee; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Jodi was preceded in death by her grandfather; Ted McCasling Jr; grandmother, Juanita Woods; step-grandfathers, Pat Nobles and Grady Woods; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Weatherford; and great-grandparents, Ted Sr. and Thelma McCasling; and an uncle, Roger Jones. Family request all attendees are required to wear a mask at Jodi’s service. Mask will be provided for those that are in need of one. A service Celebrating Jodi’s life will be 1PM Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Gibson, OK. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Muskogee, OK; with Colin Watson, Douglas Jones, Kevin McCasling and David Pratte serving as casket bearers.
