Jewel (Judy) Dean Stiglets, 80, of Fort Gibson, was born October 5, 1941, in Enterprise, OK to Boots and Juanita Ginn and peacefully passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her home with her family by her bedside.
Judy attended school in Muskogee. She worked at Corning Glass in Muskogee, where she lived for 42 years. She married Jimmy Stiglets on December 2, 1958. They later moved to Fort Gibson where they lived for 26 years.
Judy was an exceptional cook, always having something ready to eat for anyone who came by. She never met a stranger, and anyone who came to her house was treated like family. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, and gardening. Her family always came first; she was always there to listen and give sound advice. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on through her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy; her daughter, Jeanne Milligan; a sister, Sue Smith; and her parents, Boots and Juanita Ginn.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Julie Reagle of Broken Arrow, OK and Janet Brown and husband Lindy of Fort Gibson, OK; her grandchildren, Rae Lynn Harper and husband James of Muskogee, OK, Ashley Marie Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK, Dylan Spaulding of Tulsa, OK, Boomer Brown and wife Jaci of Yuma, AZ, and Jessica Brown of Fort Gibson, OK; great-grandchildren, Dakota Basham of Muskogee, OK, Lexie Omondi of Muskogee, OK, Jacob and Blake Brown of Yuma, AZ; extended family and many friends.
Services for Judy will be held 10:00AM Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
