Jeffery (Jeff) Todd Whitman, Jr., 34, of Wagoner, OK was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather, Kenneth McGehee and grandmother, Toka Whitman on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born on October 3, 1986 to Jeffery Todd Whitman, Sr. and Kimberly Faye (McGehee) Rogers in Muskogee, OK. Jeff attended public school and graduated from Hilldale High School in 2005. He then worked as an insurance salesman for much of his life.
Jeff was a scary/thriller movies fan. He enjoyed listening to music and reading, especially any book by John Grisham or Stephen King. He was always so funny and had a laugh you couldn’t forget. Most importantly, Jeff loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by grandfather (Papa), Kenneth McGehee; grandmother, Toka Whitman; and uncle, Harley Whitman.
He is survived by his father, Jeffery Todd Whitman, Sr. of Muskogee, OK; step-mother, Deborah Whitman of Muskogee, OK; mother, Kim Rogers-McGehee of Checotah, OK; step-father, Rusty Rogers of Checotah, OK; brother, Derek Whitman of Muskogee, OK; brother, Taylor Whitman and wife Kalyn of Checotah, OK; niece, Addisyn Garvin of Checotah, OK; nephew, Waylon Whitman of Checotah, OK; sister, Emily Rogers of TX; nieces, Madelyn, Natalie, and Kamryn of TX; brother, Matt Rogers and wife Brittany of TX; niece and nephew, Erin and Caden of TX; grandparent, Dorothy Stewart-McGehee and husband David of OKC, OK; grandfather, Walter Whitman of Claremore, OK; special best friends, Craig and Ashley Wyatt and their children who considered Jeff as their uncle, Rialey and Hunner; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be 12pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 graveside at Greenhill Pavilion with Mr. David Stewart officiating.
