Glenda Lynn Sue Mitchell, 82, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma passed on Thursday, July 2, 2019. She was born June 17, 1937 in Menetone, TX to William Edward Campbell and Nancy (Smith) Campbell. She attended Odessa High School.
She was the homemaker in her home and she also worked as a bookkeeper for many years of her life. She loved painting, crafts, and knitting. Glenda was also a member of First Assembly of God church.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Nancy Campbell; brother Don Campbell and wife Marla; son Keven Gibson; and grandson Drew Gibson.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Gibson of Traverce City, MI, Jim Gibson of Traverce City, MI, and Coly McClendon of California; brother Dusty Campbell and wife Betty of Muskogee, OK; aunt, Wanoa Smith; uncle, Bill Smith of Muskogee, OK; and many other cousins, nephews, and nieces in the Muskogee area.
A celebration of Glenda’s life will be 10:00am Monday, July 8, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Bebee officiating.
