George Gordon Huntly, 75

Born Wednesday, April 11, 1945

Died Friday, September 4, 2020

George Gordon Huntly, 75, of Okay, OK was born April 11, 1945 in Niles, Michigan to George and Helen (Willard) Huntly, and received his eternal reward on Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home with his loving daughter by his side.
George graduated from Rogers High School with the class of 1963. He married the love of his life, Mary on June 5, 1982 in Binghamton, New York. They moved to Okay, Oklahoma in 1982 where they remained until their passing. George was a newspaper carrier for the Tulsa World along with the Muskogee Phoenix. He served in the Manna House Food Pantry at Okay First Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. While he was in good health, he enjoyed fishing, trying new restaurants, and telling stories.
George is preceded in death by his wife Mary on May 5, 2014, and by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rebekah Huntly of Okay, OK; his sister, Kay Lively, along with her husband Jim; and a niece, Laurie Wilson, along with her husband Kenny and sons Dakota, Gabriel, and Logan; his Church family and many friends.
A graveside service celebrating George’s life will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Three Rivers Cemetery in Okay, OK with Reverend Ken Krepps officiating.
