Gail Lynn Tackett, entered eternal rest at the young age 65, on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. Gail was born February 9, 1956 in Muskogee, OK to William Patton Rogers and Wilma Jean Boling. Gail graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1974. She later started her career at Manhattan Construction, retiring in 2018 after 39 years of service. Gail had a passion for everything outdoors, tending her garden, bird watching, hiking and camping. Gail was an avid cyclist. She was a member of the Muskogee Area Cycling Club where she made many new friends and also her closest friend, Charlie. Gail loved spending time with her friends and family and grandkids most of all. Gail loved the beach and often glowed with a beautiful tan. She loved flamingos and all things pink. Pink was her signature color. She also loved all things to do with Princess Diana and the Royal Family. Gail often spent her time antiquing and had quite the assortment of interesting finds. Gail had a beauty that never faded and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Pat” Rogers and Wilma Boling. Those left to cherish Gail’s memory are her son, Eric Tackett and wife Andrea of Muskogee, OK; daughter, Natalie Hobbs of Fort Gibson, OK; closest friend, Charles Lienhart of Muskogee, OK; sister, Ragena Rogers of Muskogee, OK; granddaughters, Colby and Tyler of Muskogee, OK; grandsons, Ryon of Owasso, OK; Austin of Checotah, OK; Alex of Muskogee, OK; Blayne of Fairbanks, Alaska; Aaren and wife Kayeley of Tulsa, OK; Ashden of Fort Gibson, OK; and Barron of Muskogee, OK; extended family and many friends. A visitation will be held noon to 7PM, Monday, November 22, 2021 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with the family receiving friends 5-7PM. A service celebrating Gail’s life will be held 1PM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dan Rouse officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery, Okay, Oklahoma with Austin Tackett, Ryon Ezell, Todd Waters, Alex Hobbs, Aaren Hobbs and Ashden Hobbs serving as casket bearers.
