On November 22, 1933, in Huttonville, Oklahoma a precious, baby boy was born to Ferdinand an Ophelia [Simon] Hutton. They named him Fred.
Fred accepted Christ at an early age and attended school in Huttonville until his family relocated to Eufaula, Oklahoma. In 1956, Fred enlisted in the United States Army, and after his honorable discharge, he returned to enjoy life.
In 1970, Fred came to Oklahoma, where he met his wife, Rosie Warrior. He worked for Gilbert Construction for 22 years, until his retirement. He then went back to work for APEC until they closed, then he worked for Pinkerton as a Security Guard for Fort Howard/Georgia Pacific.
Fred enjoyed working outside. He loved family gatherings, watching football and basketball games with his sons and grandsons and Sunday dinners.
Mr. Hutton battled his illness for years, and on Thursday morning, November 21, 2019, while surrounded by his loved ones in the comfort of his home, Fred went on to his final journey to eternal rest. His loved ones in Paradise who were there to greet him; his wife, Rosie, his daughters, Monica and Gwen, his parents, Ferdinand and Ophelia Hutton, his step-parents, Ben and Ester Perry, his grandson, Theus, Deonta' and Damion, his brother, Rudolph, his sisters, Maddie Lou and Deloris, his niece, Vacie Nunley, and other loved ones.
Those left ot celebrate his life and treasure his memories; his children, Sabrina Hutton-Edmond, Pamela [Daniel] Battle, and Jackie Hutton; his step-children; Wanetta Martin, Donna [Ervin] Walters, Rosemary [Robert] McDowell, Larry [Gloria] Burnell, Joseph [Jackie] Martin, Manuel [Julie] Martin, Oliver [Carla] Martin and Todd Martin; forty grandchildren; fifty-Three great-grandchildren; a caravan of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.
The Hour of Remembrance for Brother Fred will be on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the New Hope Baptist Church of Huttonville, Oklahoma. Pastor Sanford Nero will officiate and Reverend Samuel Harper will give the Eulogy.
Burial will follow with Military Honors in the Huttonville Cemetery, Huttonville, Oklahoma, west of Eufaula.
